Team online

Email Support

Send your legal query, data access request or policy question to our dedicated policy inbox. We acknowledge within one business day and aim to resolve within seven calendar days.

Live Chat

Our support chat is available around the clock for account-related legal questions. Agents can escalate jurisdictional or data-rights concerns to the policy team on your behalf immediately.

Written Request

For formal data deletion, data portability or account-closure requests, submit a written notice via the in-app form under Account Settings. We process these within the statutory period your local law requires.

DATA SECURITY AND ACCOUNT INTEGRITY

How jiliapp Handles Data, Cookies and Account Security

We apply layered security practices across every account: encrypted storage, two-factor authentication options and session-timeout controls.

Data Encryption

All personal and financial data — including UPI and Paytm transaction records — is stored using AES-256 encryption. Access is restricted to authorised personnel operating under confidentiality obligations.

Cookie Policy

We use first-party cookies for session continuity and fraud detection. No cookie data is shared with advertising networks. You may adjust cookie preferences or opt out of non-essential cookies from your account dashboard.

Data Retention

Account data is retained for the period required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. Once a closure request is processed and the retention period lapses, personal data is permanently deleted from our systems.

Account Security

We offer two-factor authentication via SMS or authenticator app. Suspicious login attempts trigger an automatic account hold and an alert to your registered email or phone number for your review.

Who to Contact

Your primary contact for data rights, policy clarifications and legal notices is our policy inbox. For urgent account-security matters, live chat agents can escalate directly to the security team within minutes.

Requesting Changes

To correct, export or delete your personal data, use the in-app Data Rights form under Account Settings. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the action within the period your local law specifies.

Frequently Asked Legal Questions About Your Account

Below are the questions we receive most often about our legal terms, data practices and account rights. If your question is not covered here, our policy team is reachable via the contact paths listed above.

These terms apply to any individual who opens or uses a jiliapp account. Eligibility depends on local law; access is available where local law permits, including in India where supported payment rails such as UPI and PhonePe are available.

Submit a data access request through the Data Rights form in Account Settings. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and deliver a structured copy of your data within the period mandated by the applicable law in your jurisdiction.

Yes. Submit a deletion request via the in-app form or by email to our policy inbox. We will action the request once any legally required retention period has passed and confirm deletion to your registered email address.

After account closure, we retain your data only for as long as applicable law requires — typically for tax, anti-fraud and audit purposes. Once that period lapses, all personal data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems.

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with payment processors — such as UPI and Paytm networks — fraud-prevention services and regulators where disclosure is required by law. All third-party processors operate under data-processing agreements with us.

We will send a notification to your registered email address at least seven days before any material change takes effect. Minor clarifications that do not alter your rights may be updated without prior notice, but are always dated on the policy page.

Governing law and dispute jurisdiction are set out in the full Terms of Use, which you can access from the footer of any page. Where local law provides mandatory consumer protections, those protections apply in addition to our terms.
